June was a busy month for new releases: We launched a highly anticipated API for accessing and exporting user data, an Inbox backlog to assign tasks to the operators, and made Metabase charts available on Workspaces. Lastly, if you're considering moving your Customer Onboarding operations to Forest Admin, we've just released a comprehensive tutorial to help you get started. Let's dive in!

👋  How to build a Customer Onboarding tool supporting KYC and KYB procedures on Forest Admin

Did you know that Forest Admin has all the building blocks to create a customer onboarding solution supporting even the strictest KYC and KYB flows? In fact, Fintecture, Fingo, and many more companies use Forest Admin as their customer onboarding tool. It allows them to save time and money by consolidating different operations in one place, instead of using dedicated onboarding and KYC/KYB tools.

If you are thinking about migrating your customer onboarding operations to Forest Admin, we've just made it easier for you. Check out this detailed interactive tutorial that explains step by step how to turn an auto-generated admin panel into a user onboarding tool. As a sneak peek, have a look at this guide explaining how to create custom actions needed in the KYC process👇

Introducing Audit Log API: A step to achieve the full compliance

We're excited to tell you that a highly anticipated feature - an API that lets you access and export user data - has been released 🎉  Specifically, you can access activity and audit logs with endpoints that allow to list these logs on a particular project. Thanks to that, you can, for example, integrate Forest Admin data with your data warehouse.

Audit Log API is only available on the Enterprise plan. Contact us if you're interested in it.

🗒️ Improve team collaboration with Notes API

As you know, Forest Admin allows team members to leave notes for each other to facilitate smooth collaboration. Now we have also released an endpoint that allows listing notes and their messages on a particular project and environment. You can integrate them with your data warehouse just like activity and audit logs.

Notes API is only available on the Enterprise plan. Contact us if you're interested in it.

📊 Bring Metabase charts to your workspaces

About a year ago, we announced the integration of Forest Admin and Metabase. Since then, many of you have incorporated your Metabase charts into Forest Admin. After all, having all data and operations in one place is a game changer for business professionals. Metabase charts have become essential in your dashboards, and now it's time to bring them to Workspaces.

Add your charts using our new Metabase Workspace component and integrate them into your workflow.

➡️ Assign tasks from the backlog

Do you remember when last month we told you about an incoming view to empower managers. We've just released a backlog that lets you access all tickets in the Inbox and manually assign operators to the tickets directly from there. The backlog is visible to all users with Admin, Developer, and Editor roles.

Never heard of Inbox? It is an automated queue of records for better efficiency and productivity, eliminating the guesswork of what to choose. Check this demo to see how to create and use one 👇
