Release Notes January 2025
What's new in January 2025 in Forest Admin and Forest Assist

I'm sure you all noticed our brand new logo this week! Inspired by a tree, symbolizing growth and levelling up, this logo better represents our mission: empowering operational teams to thrive and reach new heights.
Believe it or not, a lot more has happened at Forest Admin HQ to start off 2025 in style, so here's a recap to ensure you haven't missed anything
Forest Assist AI
Forest Assist already provides support agents with resolution workflows at their fingertips, within the context of the support ticket at hand.
Our new AI makes solving tickets even easier, by suggesting relevant records, data, and actions based on the conversation with the customer.
Have a look below to see it in action:
Unlocked Forest Assist Navigation
Forest Assist's new interface shows all data in a consistent way to support agents, making it easy for them to browse your app's database and find any information or action, no matter how deep it is in the structure.
The refreshed interface maximizes the space available within the side panel, and reduces the number of clicks required to navigate between pages, or access a record's data thanks to the new Details preview.
Here's a walkthrough these improvements:
And also...
A new Inbox setting now allows you to ensure that operators don't interfere with task assignments, leaving this responsibility solely to Managers.
Pushing layout updates from a development branch can now be done directly from the UI, no need to head back to your terminal when you're happy with your changes.
The use of lazy joins when possible ensures faster loading times.
Coming soon
New Navigation & Customization Center
The way you access Workspaces, Dashboards, and Inboxes is changing soon: they'll all be available in the same interface as your Collections and Segments, providing a consistent entry point for all your processes.
Here's a recap of the changes you can expect to land in your Forest Admin project on February 24th:
It will soon be possible to detach Segments from their parent Collection, letting you place them in different Folders, to truly reflect your operational organization.
AI Workflows
Ever thought of automatically chaining actions one after the other, as defined in your internal processes? Including some that are external to Forest Admin, especially those that could be handled by AI?
Then we'd love to hear from you, whether it's to better understand a particular need you have, or if you'd like to help us test this out based on your real-life day-to-day processes!
That's all folks! If you have any questions about the new features, don't hesitate to let us know.
